Sections and Branching

After clicking on the editing icon next to a section, you can determine:

the section caption and instructions for the respondents that will be shown at the beginning of the section, and
whether or not this section should be visible, depending on the answer to one or two previous questions.

Header and Instructions

In the top half of the window, you can edit the caption of the section and the instructions that are shown to respondents at the beginning of the section.

When respondents fill in questionnaires, sections can be skipped based on answers to previous questions. You can select one or two questions with scales or selections and determine for which answers the section should be visible.

Step 1: Select a Question

If you do not want the section to be visible to every respondent, select a question from the drop-down box as a first step.

Step 2: Pick Answers.

In a second step, determine for which answers to the previously selected question this section should be visible.

If necessary, you can make the visibility of the section depend on two different previous questions. If you need another question, just repeat the two steps of choosing the question and answers using the bottom drop-down box.
